Shrimathi Kannada Movie Review

Shrimathi Kannada Movie Review. Latest Kannada film Shrimathi starring Upendra, Priyanka upendra and Celina jaitely has been released this Friday and there have been poor responses all over. Here are the reviews and star ratings by different sources.

Supergoodmovies - 2/5
This is not a film for superstar Upendra caliber. It is eventually a fight between two women, Celina Jaitley and Priyanka. Upendra had agreed for this film in 2009 and it is bad luck that the film is releasing in 2011 after his ‘Super’ Kannada film giving excellent results for him.
Bharatstudent - 2.25/5
The film happens to be the remake of the Bollywood film Aitraaz which in turn was the inspiration from the Hollywood flick Disclosure. Anyways, the Kannada version lacked the grip and the only thing that might pull some audience is the hot scenes and the drama in court. While the first half is about the layering of the plot, the second half deals with the courtroom drama and the flashback. Overall, this is a film which came in with high expectations but doesn't have that depth to keep the audience engaged. At the box office, this could be a below average grosser.
Indiaglitz - 2.5/5
Prem Chopra is wasted and so is Sayyaji Shindhe. Camera work result from Johny Lal is lost in the post production of the film. GK has scored two good tunes but they are not long lasting.

Bellitere - 2/5

Bollywood veterans like Prem Chopra and Shaji Shindhe are wasted. Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao is good. Stay at home with Shrimathi, preferably your own.
