It will be Cricket IPL (Indian Premier League) 2010 vs Kannada Films in Bangalore theatres next month, as 50 theatres will screen IPL matches this year in Bangalore and 550 theatres all over India. But President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce Dr Jayamala says that this is against the law of the Karnataka Cinematography Regulations and harmful to film industry, Only censored films should be screened in the cinema halls and nothing else. IPL season 3 has an agreement with UFO Movies, Cinemax, Inox and other Multiplex to screen matches Live. The Karnataka film association will meet Karnataka home minister regarding this issue as it will make huge loss to Kannada film industry for nearly 2 months.
