Chetan should have been more expressive. It is Regina who is more impressive than Chetan. Chaithanya's Suryakanthi is worth a watch for Ilayaraja's work and superb outdoor shoot.

On a whole, Suryakanthi shows flashes of brilliance in parts, but is a let down with a weak script and too much focus on style.
