Ramya and Yogish in Sidlingu Movie

Kannada top actress Ramya will act with actor Yogish in Sidlingu Movie. Ramya earlied denied the offer as the her character was having harsh dialogues, but now the director and producers have cut the dialogues and now Ramya is ready to act in the movie. Yogish himself is big fan of Ramya and he is excited to work with her in Sidlingu film. Ramya and Duniya Vijay combination in Johny mera naam has worked out and the movie has been hit, now we have to see how Ramya and Yogish combination works. Sidlingu is a comedy-cum-emotional drama which is being directed by Vijay Prasad and will have Gnana Murthy's camerawork and Anoop Seelin's music. The movie stars Ramya, Yogish, Rangayana Raghu, Sharan, KP Sridhar and others.

With a worn out subject, director H Vasu losing the nativity elements too, brought in ‘Polladhavan’ remake that is ‘Punda’. The dark night effect that is maintained purposefully throughout the film is what is notable in the film. The trivial issues blown out of proportion are showing us where we stand in cinema making. The protagonist has only two points to fulfill in his life. One is motorbike and the other one his lady love. For this adding masala is a mismatch. What is a hit in Tamil is strain in Kannada version.

The credit for Punda being a good watch should go to the original makers. A good performance by Yogish and Meghana. The songs do not stand up to the standard of Yogish’s earlier films. Despite some blood sport, Punda is worth a watch.

Yogish has the right kind of role for him. His dialogue delivery is apt and convincing for his fans. Srinivasamurthy, Dwarakish and Santosh are impressive. The film major honor goes to music director Abhiman Roy. R Giri the senior cameraman has done a competent work. Reduce the length then this film is a passable one!

The first half of the movie Ravana is quite dragging and bores the audiences. But the second half has got necessary twists and turns to create interest among the audiences. Yogish has given wonderful performance, but he seems to have struggled to do justice to his role. Sanchita Padukone’s character is a tailor-made role. She makes magic through her eyes and steals the show in her debut film.
